Born and raised in Pakistan, I have been doing portrait and documentary photography. I moved to the United States in 2012 for graduate studies and now reside and work in Wisconsin. Initially, I focused on documenting religious minority groups in Pakistan. In recent years, my primary focus is on photographing immigrants, including refugees and asylum seekers, as they resettle in the United States.
